If you have easily-portable folding chairs, bring them along if you want a 100% guarantee of a sit-down for the whole afternoon. I mean, we do have chairs, just not sixty of them...

Making sure everyone who should has an invite!
My job is to make sure that everyone who should be, is invited...
Not easy given that I am in Sydney and Mum and Dad's address book is in Yorkshire!
Thank god for the internet, which has proved very helpful. Attempts to surreptitiously extract names and addresses from Mum have not proved fruitful, so if you know of anyone that you think ought to come, please do let us know, as we don't want to miss anyone out.
And remember, not only is it a secret, but Mum and Dad also don't know that I will be in the country, so be careful not to mention that either!

What's the Plan?
We're asking you to come by 3pm so that everyone will be there when Colin & Marion arrive.
Apparently Wendy is going to arrange a cunning plan to have them taken away for lunch and then brought back at 3.30pm. I think Bill and Gwenda might be having a hand in this....
There's a hog roast and trimmings which will be ready to eat about 4-ish. There will also be other stuff for veggies, non-pork eaters and other picky folks! We've ordered a cake. And booze, of course - but do feel free to bring a bottle.
